Dr. Gary Byrne was born in Ontario California, attended the University of Redlands (BA, magna cum laude), UNC, Chapel Hill (Ph.D.), and the Universities of Bonn and Montpellier. He was honored to serve as Assoc. Prof., San Diego State University; Chairman, Bank of Alex Brown & Meridian National Bank; Administrator, Rural Electrification Administration; CEO Rural Telephone Bank; Board Member, Farm Credit Administration and F.C. Insurance System; Partner, Miller & Byrne Inc.; President, Vesta Capital Partners. His financial writing has appeared in Barrons, the Los Angeles Times, Investor’s Business Daily, and the WSJ, among others.
Dr. Lance Mason
Dr. Lance Mason was born in Oxnard, California, attended Loyola University (BSc), UCSB, and UCL A (DDS), held teaching posts at Otago University (Dunedin, NZ), Universidade do Rio Grande do Norte (Brazil), and UCLA, has chaired professional education conferences in the US and abroad, and is a respected dental practitioner. His writing has won national awards and appeared in literary and professional journals in the U.S. and overseas. Dr. Mason has lived nearly half of his adult life overseas, mainly in New Zealand, an affiliation he values highly.
